2010 – 11/06 Northampton Veterans Memorial Dedicated

USPOWflagRaised11-6-10-300x204What a fantastic event Northampton held Saturday morning November 6, 2010 at Northampton Township as the Supervisors dedicated the new Veterans Memorial in front of the Township building.

  • Part 1 video is about 13 minutes and shows the opening remarks, raising the American and POW flags, National Anthem, Pledge of Allegiance and prayer.Here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0m5UNs5ku0 .
  • Part 2 video is about 15 minutes and has the MC, Col. Larry Rubini giving a capsule history of each military branch and then after each services history, the veterans of that military service have their military song played while some of their members raise their flag.Due to limited duration on each video by YouTube (15 minutes max), this part has Army, Marines, Navy, Air force and ends with Coast Guard.  Part 3 will have the Merchant Marines and conclusion.Here is the link to part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOTmZI81dHU.
