Fitzpatrick Visits Committee

Mike Fitzpatrick at Northampton CommitteeRichboro PA — Yesterday evening, at the regular monthly meeting of our Committee, former Congressman and County Supervisor, Michael G. Fitzpatrick, stopped by to say a few words about his thoughts on the forthcoming Republican Primary election. He had announced Saturday that he was entering the race and was planning to win.

He also took the time to answer any and all questions and to go further in-depth on his plans for 2010. He’s aiming his campaign directly at Murphy’s, Obama’s and Pelosi’s failed policies and Murphy’s 97% record of voting the Democratic spend and tax party line.

He also plans to offer Mr. Murphy the option of showing good faith with the country’s economic times by agreeing to limit campaign spending to some reasonable amounts. He added by saying that his 10 years as County Commissioner taught him the values associated with delivering a balanced budget, even in hard times including not spending what you can’t afford.

Another, previously announced candidate for the Primary Congressional seat, Health Attorney Rob Marshall from Doylestown, also attended the meeting. He was very forthright and restated the comments attributed to him in the Sunday papers.

Rob is, in fact, dropping out of the race and has joined the Fitzpatrick Team as an active member and adviser on matters in the area of Health and Health Economics.

Mike greeted most members of the Committee by their first names and clearly has an amazing grasp of local, regional and national politics and firm understanding of the issues that face us in 2010. He took his time, answered every question and was clear and concise in his responses to comments and suggestions.
