SUPER SATURDAY!!
Message To All Members & Volunteers in Bucks County from Pat Poprik, Bucks McCain’08 Chair, and Joe Cullen, Bucks McCain’08 County Coordinator
We really need you! As you know, Bucks County and Pennsylvania are critical to a Republican win this November 4th.
With only 50 some days until the election, the TIME IS NOW!
This Saturday, September 13, 2008 is SUPER SATURDAY!!!
We are trying to capitalize on the fantastic momentum from our National Convention. We want to reach out to as many voters as possible and get them on board for John McCain and Sarah Palin, Tom Manion and the rest of our Republican Candidates!
The response from the public has been remarkable and we want the committee members fully engaged in getting our candidates elected. We must reach our goal numbers if we want to be in serious consideration for visits from Senator McCain and Governor Palin.
On Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM, we will be making phone calls, going door to door and delivering yard signs from the Victory 08 Center, 1410 West Street Road, Warminster, PA 267-282- 5235.

Palin Stirs GOP Action
Huge Number of Requests for Campaign Signs, Stickers and literature at The Northampton Days Festival – Many new voters registered and absentee ballot forms distributed.
Richboro, Bucks County, PA — Northampton Days, held yesterday was a rousing success, especially at the Republican Committee information table.
We ran out of McCain – Palin signs very early and asked people to submit their names and addresses so we can either send them copies when we get them or let them know how and when more literature will be available. Others visitors filled out voter registration forms or received Absentee Ballot request forms or lawn signs and information on other candidates. We still have a supply for Scott Petri and Tom Manion signs for those who need them.
There was no doubt that Sarah Palin was the driving force behind much of the excitement over the Republican Party and the 2008 Presidential ticket. There were countless requests for signs bearing her name.
In addition to the exceptionally strong demand for signs and literature some of the comments heard at the festival, even from Democrats, were:
“She’s a role model for all mothers, women and young girls”;
“What a breath of fresh air for the Republicans”
“I’m now able to at least vote for a ticket that has a woman on it”
“Nobama now*“;
“Now is the time for women in politics” plus many, many more with over-the-top superlatives.

Palin ‘our new superstar’
Local GOP Leaders talk about her in an Article By GARY WECKSELBLATT, Staff Writer on the Vote Manion Website
It begins:
It hasn’t been an easy time to be a Republican, according to Bob Kerns, chairman of the Montgomery County GOP.
“The Republican Party has been beaten up,” Kerns said Thursday. “Everybody’s saying we’re going to lose. This is (Barack) Obama’s year. This is the Democrats’ year.”
And then came Sarah Palin.
