Read..Remember…and Learn (if you don’t already know)!

The political battle that has been raging for the past three or four years about the necessity of our troops being in Iraq and Afghanistan has been fueled by many arguments, notably from the Democrats. They seem, at times, to be willing to say almost anything to get into power again.

They made big strides in the last election when they toppled our favorite son, Mike Fitzpatrick, from his seat in Congress. We must reverse the trend ..now!

We have to not only be informed and vote but also tell the truth to our friends and neighbors, so they understand the consequences of a Democrat victory anywhere in this election.

The Democrats will continue to change the political landscape unless more of us remember and understand what is going on and why!

There’s an article, Al Qaeda’s Travel Agent, by the former Democrats, Senator Joe Lieberman of Connecticut, who faced down his own party in light of the wrongs he felt they were doing to sensible concepts of defense and security. He ran as an independent and kept his seat in Congress.

The article was repeated recently on John McCain’s Blog; it’s that significant!

Read his Wall Street Journal Op-Ed article of August 20, 2007 again by CLICKING HERE, if you have any doubt about some of the things happening.

Two important things worth noting, as he says, are:

“…defeating al Qaeda in Iraq requires not only that we continue pressing the offensive against its leadership and infrastructure inside the country. We must also aggressively target its links to ‘global’ al Qaeda and close off the routes its foreign fighters are using to get into Iraq.”

It’s happening. We are beginning to win again in Iraq.

John McCain and a Republican Congress will insure that we do. Anything less could spell defeat on a global scale and continued danger for us both internationally and at home!
