Banned & Spammed

No, it is not a misspelling, “Banned” refers to the list of web site addresses or IP (Internet Protocol) addresses, in Web lingo, that have attempted to place spam, including overly partisan or outrageous rhetoric, on this website.

Hopefully this may be of use to some of the anti spam effort that are underway among those who are working very hard to make the Web a safer and saner place.

First is the list of those addresses that have continued to attempt to place spam or spurious matter onto the site and the number of times they have tried to spam after they have been banned initially.

Repeat spamming is most often generated by automatic programs, spam robots or “Spambots”, that are set free on the Web by their masters and post or try to post unrelated, usually undesirable web links and words onto open access websites like this one.
