Tax Collector Improves Tax Payer Access to Office

Bob Borkowski, Northampton Township Tax Collector, met more than 4000 taxpayers last year.  He listened to their concerns and has already taken a major step to make the Tax Collector more accessible to taxpayers.

One of the complaints Bob heard was that there is no convenient time for working taxpayers to go to the Tax office, request information, settle their accounts or conduct other business.  Bob has changed that.

The Tax Office is open the 4th Wednesday of the month until 7:00PM, coinciding with the monthly Board of Supervisors meeting!  This will give people an opportunity to stop in on their way home from work.  Bob plans other changes as well, all designed to make the Tax office friendlier and more responsive to residents needs.

Regular business hours for the Northampton Township Tax Collector are Monday-Thursday 8:30AM-4:30PM, Fridays 8:30AM-12:30PM and the 4th Wednesday of the Month 8:30AM-7:00PM.  The Tax Office follows the Holiday and closing schedule of the Township.  Other hours may be added as needed.
